Question 1

How much does a house cleaning cost?

Accepted Answer

Every job is quoted as a flat price, never by the hour. The price depends on square footage, the number of bathrooms and bedrooms, floor types, and whether you need a standard clean or a deep clean. We give you the number before any work starts, and it does not change at the door.

Question 2

Do I need to be home while you clean?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Plenty of our recurring clients are at work while we are there. You can leave a key, a lockbox code, or a garage code, and we treat access details as confidential. If you would rather be home, that is completely fine too.

Question 3

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We arrive with all supplies and equipment included in the price. If you have a product you prefer for a particular surface, or a sensitivity to certain scents or chemicals, tell us during the estimate and we will work with what you provide or choose an alternative.

Question 4

What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?

Accepted Answer

A standard clean is maintenance: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens, and bathrooms at surface level. A deep clean adds appliance interiors, grease removal, grout, baseboards, vents, switch plates, and cleaning behind and underneath furniture. If it has been more than six months, start with a deep clean.

Question 5

How often should I schedule a recurring cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Weekly suits busy family homes and households with pets. Biweekly is the most popular choice and usually the best value. Monthly works for smaller homes and households without pets. We recommend a frequency during the estimate based on what your home actually needs.

Question 6

Which areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Chicago and communities within roughly 30 miles of our Southwest Side base — including Oak Lawn, Burbank, Bedford Park, Summit, Bridgeview, Evergreen Park, La Grange, Brookfield, and more. If you are not sure whether your address is covered, just ask when you call.

Question 7

Are you insured, and are your cleaners background-checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes to both. Ferrer Cleaning carries insurance, and every crew member is vetted before they work in a client's home or business. For commercial clients we can also work under whatever key, badge, or building access protocol your property manager requires.

Question 8

Do you offer any discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Refer a friend and you get 15% off when you refer a friend. Returning clients on a recurring weekly, biweekly, or monthly schedule also receive ongoing plan savings compared with one-time visits.

Question 9

Can I book service in Spanish?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Estimates, scheduling, and any questions on the day of service can all be handled in Spanish or English — whichever you prefer.

Question 10

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

For most requests in Chicago and the closest suburbs we can schedule within the same week. Deep cleans and post-construction jobs take longer to plan, so give us a little more notice where you can. Call (773) 332-4761 and we will tell you honestly what is available.
